- Classes are offered online only. There is no clinical requirement associated with the Bachelor of Science in Imaging Sciences.
- Classes run for seven weeks at a time. You can complete your degree at a flexible full-time or part-time pace that works for your schedule.
- Complete your degree in as few as 12 months with a full-time schedule.

Imaging Sciences Bachelor’s Degree Requirements
The Bachelor of Science in Imaging Sciences is a 120-credit program. To begin the program, you must be an ARRT-credentialed technologist, or equivalent, in good standing.
You must also have earned — or be in the process of earning — an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science or Associate of Applied Science from an accredited institution. These may be previously earned academic credits or transfer courses.

Associate of Science or Associate of Arts
If you have earned — or are in the process of earning — an Associate of Science (AS) or Associate of Arts (AA), the following credits will be applied to your degree:
- AS or AA Degree – 62 credits
- ARRT Credential – 17 to 25 credits for passing the ARRT credentialing exam or equivalent
After being admitted to the imaging sciences program, you will complete the following:
- Required Imaging Sciences Courses – 33 credits
- Elective Courses – 0 to 4 credits
Associate of Applied Science
If you have earned — or are in the process of earning — an Associate of Applied Science (AAS), the following credits will be applied to your degree:
- AAS Degree – 23 credits
- ARRT Credential – 17 to 25 credits for passing the ARRT credentialing exam or equivalent
After being admitted to the imaging sciences program, you will complete the following:
- University Foundations Courses – 37 credits
- Required Imaging Sciences Courses – 33 credits
- Medical Terminology Course – 3 credits
- Elective Courses – 0 to 4 credits

Authorization
Boise State maintains authorization to offer online programs in Idaho and beyond. Detailed information about state authorization is available on the eCampus Center website.
